Help in fundraising for the development of an online marketplace which will sell African products to the world.

I am in the process of developing an online marketplace where we can sell African products to the world. Many online marketplaces available like ebay, amazon, etc either have exhorbitant charges or do not support local African payment gateways. I have already resolved the problem and programmed the page to support African gateways, mobile money wallets, and debit cards.

In this rapidly developing technological generation, it is time we have a proudly African service, where the rest of the world comes to shop our products and services. It also simplifies trade between African countries.

Together we can achieve the African dream that I have already started. Let us hold hands and make Africa proud.

I am now in the final stages where I am setting up the shipping APIs and intergrating some few payment gateways to the page. The amount of money that I am looking for is for the office space and equipment as well as paying for licences. Once done, we are ready to launch and we will be able to pride oursleves in the marjetplace that sells African products as well as give easy access to Africans to purchase products of their choice worldwide.

Since it has all payment gateways intergrated and accepts all forms of payments, GEVEBAY will be the largest ecommerce marketplace in the world and it will ship products to all corners of the world.

The marketplace will be very cheap to sell your products on as we will be charging only costs associated with running the page as well as pay employees.

Together we can!

God Bless You for your donation.

Those who can assist in this cause will get a personal Thank you email from me and those who contribute;

$100 and below will get 20% discount on a product of choice when we launch:

$101-$500 will get a 50% discount on a product of choice when we launch:

$501 and above will be allowed to sell their products on GEVEBAY for a month at zero cost or will get a 90% discount on a product of choice when we launch.

Collect de fonds

Bonjour,

From a few years ago we met a lot of craftsmen who spend many hours and make a lot of effort in harsh conditions and bad environment to make great products but they still live a poor life and suffer every day in order to survive. that painful picture of the live of many crafters and they are making all those efforts but At the end of the day, they do not get suitable income to keep their needs and their families needs. that picture was stucked in our minds and controlled our thinking every day. We tried very hard to find an idea to help those people who have handmade skills to improve their incomes.

finaly we found a creative idea to help crafters we founded “craft store” a platform with a big number of our traditional so modern products, a platform that is easy to access safe to order from and affordable

It’s also a marketing window for all small businesses and startup handcrafters with great projects to showcase on “craftstoresd.com”

We now have a great base of talented entrepreneurs from all over Sudan, a country full of human resources and great minds that can achieve outstanding things with the right attention and support

Craft Store will be of great benefits for the community in terms of job creation and source of employment and thus an income for families in addition to training and qualifying craftsmen for high efficiency production.

In addition to benefiting from waste materials and creating innovative products of a value.

Craft Store is not only a marketing platform but it is also have an educational and training department that development craftsmen and artisans with a great knowledge and skill (do not give me a fish but teach me how to fish).

We believe in craft Store and its usefulness to the craft market and craftsmen and the community as a whole and we seek to create it with the best standers and highest quality and for our success we need funding for applying workshops to train and qualify craftsmen, in addition to set up a small craft workshop and to expand and spread the project internationally and to make maximum use of resources.

Our vision for the future is to apply this idea throughout Africa to contribute to the improvement of its economy through optimal utilization of available resources and diverse cultures

Greetings

My name is Bright and I have been given the opportunity of a life time by receiving a 50% scholarship to University in Cyprus. The school is very flexible with modes of payments but due to financial circumstances here in the country and at home I may have this slip through my fingers and not get another chance. My ambition is to take the economics course and try and get a platform that can help me better my future for not only myself but my family as well and in the long term the country I come from. I honestly know that this is a big task to fulfill and there will be a lot of challenges I must overcome but I am more than willing to do whatever I possibly can to make sure of my dreams coming into light and pushing forward to excel. This funding will help with tuition, accommodation, a school visa, food and a travel ticket. I have been working to get my passport renewed and to make a bank account so I can be able to send some money back home if I earn enough in the future. Apart from this I will push on and on till I can get to my goals, I am not a quitter and I will prove it to those willing to help me.

Thank you

While many kids in the world are longing for toys, the dream of Togolese orphans is a simple healthy hot meal the day of Christmas
We would like you to help us achieve the end of the year’s goal by helping put a smile on the orphans’ faces.

Every year Mivasocial.com (greatest Africa social network) and BazaBaza Corp, a 501 C 3, Not-for-Profit Organization, based in Tennessee, team up to give hope to children in Togo. This year, the 30 orphanages we have targeted for Christmas project will receive hot meals and gifts. This will be achievable with the help of all our great donors. In 2015, 2016 and 2017 we fed in total 46 orphanages, thanks to our kind donors who made that possible.

While we have the Togolese community from the Diaspora engaged in this cause with us, the goal for the year is far to be attained. Strongly and kindly, we call upon your generosity to participate in the « Togovi Give Back » campaign by sponsoring the needs to feed the 30 orphanages in Togo for Christmas 2018.

MARIAM WOMEN AND YOUTH TRAINING CENTER REQUEST FOR FUNDING TO COMPLETE PROJECT

Summary:
Mariam Adam, a 27-year old Tanzanian mother of one, is asking for assistance in funding the completion of her training center. The center will develop educational and skill capacities for youth and empower women to overcome poverty and unemployment. Mariam has started to build the center but faces the problem in finishing the construction and buying the accessories and equipment necessary to open the center. The cost of finishing the project is Tsh. 16,004,000 (7,300 USD).
Introduction:
My name is Mariam Adam and I am living in a rural area of Morogoro region in Tanzania. Although I come from poor family with one parent guardian (after my Father passed away when I was six month baby yet) I graduated from Dodoma University with a Bachelor of Science in Information systems [Bsc.IS] and a minor in Business Strategies in the year 2015. This is rare in Tanzania, where both the poor and women represent very few of the students in higher education, especially in the sciences and business. Unfortunately, it is even rarer for women to be employed in companies, institutions or government. Since graduation, I have been unable to secure employment in any of these fields. Upon much reflection, I decided to overcome this problem with entrepreneurship – by employing myself and starting my own venture, a community training center to help the fellow women and youths within my community achieve self-employment and overcome poverty through different handcrafts and activities. Given the poverty, unemployment and lack of opportunities in my community, opening this center will help my community and make life better for all of our families, and will also allow them to break the cycle that keeps many of us poor and unemployed.

I am starting this campaign to raise money for my three-rooms training center (see attached photos and budget below) which I already started to build. Finishing the roofing and other construction poses a problem because my income is very limited.
The center will conduct the following training for women and youth:
➔ Soap-making class
➔ Tanzanian Traditional clothes-making and tailoring class
➔ Painting, Art and Home-Decor class
➔ Entrepreneurship and Business opportunity-utilization class.
➔ Computer literacy and Basic Software Applications class
➔ Nutritious food for mothers with children

Please help me [donors, friends and people of good faith] to accomplish my life dream of helping my community! Thank you,
Mariam Adam

Budget of to finish roofing, construction and acquisition of equipment for the three rooms.

Even though the Okavango Delta is one of the most beautiful tourist attraction places in the world, and listed as a World Heritage Site, buried deep in this site is a story of indigenous peoples battling the disappearance of their identity and cultural heritage as tourism and discriminatory policies continue to push them out of their traditional territories.

Time's Up

BUSINESS PROPOSAL

ABOUT ME

Seeking $ 3,000 agri-business funding

I am Dennis Koome Gitonga, a Kenyan youth, 27 years. A graduate from MOI UNIVERSITY with a Bachelors of Education, 2016. I am a passionate farmer doing some small-scale butternut farming. This explains my first choice degree course at the university which was Agribusiness with Management but I ended up in the school of education.t. I am from Buuri Sub County in Meru County but currently based at MITUNGUU in IMENTI SOUTH constituency in MERU. Having stayed at this renowned banana production area for close to two years, I have come to discover the hidden fortunes in this fruit. I have gained quite an experience from a friends’ farm on how to grow and proper management of the crop to maturity. Being a banana-producing zone, many companies have established here who purchase the produce in thousands of metric tonnes, ferry and sell in Mombasa, Marsabit etc.

Banana is one of the most common fruits in the Kenyan market. It also forms one of the significant traditional delicacies in our society.

I have 2-acre piece of land with plenty of water from a nearby river.

BANANA FARM

Having interacted with several expert farmers, who have been in business for more than a decade, I am prompted to write this proposal to acquire funding to help me as a youth as well as provide job opportunities to my fellow youths around.

VARIETY (TISSUE CULTURE)

Owing to the fact that Bananas are also prone to pest and diseases such as nematodes, and fungal diseases such as sigatoka and bacterial wilt, I intend to use the tissue cultured banana plantlets raised by KARLO Kenya which are pest and disease free. In addition, they provide much higher yields compared to traditional varieties.

Tissues cultured bananas are raised using technology by generating them from roots, leaves or stems in controlled and sterilized conditions. I shall plant the ‘Uganda Green’ variety.

Advantages

  1. Fast maturing compared to conventional bananas. Takes approximately 310 days (10 months) to old varieties taking 15months to 2 years.
  2. They are pest and disease free.
  3. They have a very high yield

FARM PREPARATION

The farm is prepared by digging up planting holes of 1.5ft x1.5ft x2ft depth. The 2ft depth is attributed to holding moisture for a long time as well as to hold nutrients for the plant. The planting holes are dug 3m by 3m so as to accommodate 430 plants in an acre.

PLANTING

Well decomposed manure is mixed with topsoil at the rate of 6kg per planting hole. A 1ft allowance is left out on the depth for holding water and mulch. A smaller hole is dug inside and the banana plantlet is planted there. The plant is watered with about 40 litres of water.

MATURITY

The crop takes 8 – 9 months to flower after which it takes 2 – 3 months to harvesting. An average tissue cultured banana under good agricultural management can weigh 30kgs and above. At the time of harvesting, there is always another sucker which will have flowered and due in a month’s time.

MARKET

Bananas have a very ready market than any other plant. In my locality, there are well-established companies which sort after farmers to buy their produce. They have trucks that collect bananas from the farm. One of the most preferred companies buys every banana bunch at $6.5. There are others who buy per kilogram.

PROJECTED INCOME FORM THE BUSINESS

With the farm holding 860 plants, I intend to harvest in phases. Even if we have a buyer over here buying at $6.5 per head, I intend to calculate at the price of $4 per head. And assuming 60 plants spoil. I am left with 800 good plants for sale. Assuming I harvest 140 mature bananas per harvest, with subsequent harvests after 2 weeks.

1st harvest -140 plants x $4 = $560

2nd harvest (after 2 weeks) -140 plants x $4 = $560

3rd harvest (after another 2 weeks) -140 plants x $4 = $560

4rth harvest (after another 2 weeks) -140 plants x $4 = $560

5th harvest (after another 2 weeks) -140 plants x $4 = $560

Total = $ 2,800

This is the 1st harvesting cycle which lasts 2 months. After the 5th harvest, the cycle repeats itself, considering the place I harvested during the 1st harvest, another banana will have matured.

With $ 2,800 income from the 1st harvesting cycle, means in 6 cycles in a year, I will have sold $16,800

LOAN REPAYMENT

I intend to repay my loan as soon as I make the 1st sale. However, I will be engaging in butternut farming with matures in 21/2 months which returns, I will be repaying some instalments before the main crop matures. However, I would plead for some grace period before I start repaying.

I believe, even with half of the projected income realised, I can clear the entire loan amount in the first 3 months of harvest.

CONCLUSION

It’s a good venture. Less risk of crop failure. Again, I will engage high-level agricultural experts to visit the farm every month to give advice. If I could get the funding, I will be enabled to realize my dreams as a hardworking Kenyan youth.

I would plead with any interested private investor to fund my idea. My contacts are
